Ride Truth

Ride Truth turns GPS noise into accountable ride memory.

TrailFu should show riders what was recorded, what was filtered, why it was filtered, and whether a stat deserves belief.

TrailFu product mockup

Product position

Ride recording is trust work. A speed spike, GPS gap, sleep-state pause, or jump miss can damage confidence. Ride Truth makes the app more honest by making diagnostics visible instead of burying the machinery.

Recorded data

Preserved

Raw truth should not disappear.

Displayed stats

Filtered

Ride cards should be believable.

Diagnostics

Visible

Trust grows when riders can inspect the machine.

How it works

Built in layers, not wishful fog.

Each feature page explains what TrailFu should do now, what it prepares for next, and what claims it deliberately avoids.

Raw and filtered distance

TrailFu should preserve the raw record while presenting a filtered ride summary that removes obvious GPS artifacts. The rider should be able to see both layers when something feels off.

  • Raw distance retained
  • Filtered distance shown
  • Rejected points summarized
  • Final GPS fix status

Speed with evidence

Top speed should not become a carnival number caused by one bad GPS jump. TrailFu should explain speed credibility and filter impossible spikes before they become part of the story.

  • Spike rejection
  • Evidence window
  • Credibility flags
  • Diagnostics export

Maps that frame the ride

A ride story map should zoom to the actual ride bounds, not the whole country. The map is a memory object; it should hold the shape of the day.

  • Full ride bounds
  • Privacy trimming before sharing
  • Trail names when available
  • No diagnostic hiding

Mobile-first recording preserved

Mobile first

The web layer complements the apps.

Recording, on-trail use, wearable controls, offline behavior, and ride capture remain app-first. This site creates trust, beta demand, support, and a path toward future account sync.
