Description for Youngs Gulch
When people ask me if there is one trail to ride in Fort Collins, I tend to say Young's Gulch (it is an advanced trail with some pretty technical stuff so keep that in mind). If you are an experienced rider with good bike skills, add this to your must ride list. There are lots of creek crossings and the water is COLD which can be refreshing on hot days but on the cooler days or in the morning your teeth will be chattering.
The flow of the trail is really good, there are some smooth fast singletrack sections that I wish I could ride everyday, the more technical stuff is challenging but rideable, sometimes it takes a few attempts to clean some stuff.
Put your phone and camera in zip lock bags your camelback because I have wiped out in the creek before and ruined a phone, some of the creek crossings are deeper then they look.
