Description for Little Bald Mountain
The ride gains approximately 3000 feet of fireroads, which some people choose to shuttle. It would be quite a bit harder to ride up the trail, even downhill you will get a great ride in.
The uphill starts from a campground just a few miles before Cliffdell. There are a few options to choose in order to choose the correct road to get to the top of the trail. Buy a Forest Service or equivalent map. Near the top is a pullout where the shuttlers will park their car. The downhill starts here, but you may opt for a short climb further up the fireroad in order to get a better view from the beginning. Don't worry, the ride itself will have plenty of great views!
