Description for Taneum Ridge Roller
The North Fork Taneum Trail (No. 1377) can be ridden as an out and back, eventually connecting with the South Cle Elum Ridge Trail (No. 1326). The trail is a mix of singletrack alternating with old fire roads. Offroad motorcycles share the trail, so things can get dusty mid summer.
Cross the road from the campground to the trailhead. Ascend the singletrack which will eventually join with an old fire road that is rocky in places. Go right onto South Cle Elum Ridge Trail No. 1326 at its junction with the North Fork Trail No. 1377. Continue up the trail. A small unmarked spur trail ascends steeply to the right until it dead ends after 2 or so miles and makes a good out and back side trip of mostly single track with good views of the valley. After returning from the spur to the main trail, keep ascending the Cle Elum Ridge Trail which will eventually cross logging roads.
