Description for Cooper Lake State Park
The rolling hills of Cooper Lake State Park offer spectacular views of Cooper Lake, from the steeper hills of South Sulphur Unit to the more gradual slopes of the Doctor's Creek Unit. Both areas allow mountain biking, the Doctor's Creek section has a time mile singletrack trail and the South Sulphur section has 5 miles of singletrack. Overall this is not a destination trail you would visit the park just to ride, but if you are visiting it is worth bringing your bike to get in a few miles of riding. The trails are beginner to intermediate, although it is likely that beginners will be off their bikes several times.
