Description for Big Sandy Creek
The riding at Big Sandy Creek is multi-use single and doubletrack trail that is shared with hikers and horses. The trails are not overly well maintained but are usually rideable (at times the vegetation can crowd the trail). This is certainly not a mountain biking destination trail that someone would want to drive out of their way to drive, but if you are going to be in the area it is worth bringing your bike to get in a a few miles. There is nothing overly technical, so those looking for a challenge will be disappointed. The area is scenic and would make a nice place for a family MTB ride.
