Description for Isle Du Bois
Isle Du Boise (IDB) is a great intermediate level ride and a local favorite. The course is set up into loops A,B,C,D, & E. Stay left to do them all.
The expert section in loop E, has huge rock garden that is not popular with some riders. If you plan to ride all the loops bring plenty of water, snacks and a gel shot or 2. There are some gut wrenching climbs and fairly fast downhills, but nothing scary. Overall the ride is more of a cross-country aerobic training course, with great scenes and a well maintained trail.

IDB is a great intermediate level ride and is actually closer to 9mi long. The course is set up into loops A,B,C,D, & E. Stay left to do them all. I avoid the expert section in loop E, it's just a huge "Rock Garden", which I hate. Otherwise, if you plan on riding all the loops bring plenty of water and a gel shot or 2. There are some gut wrenching climbs and fairly fast downhills, but nothing scary. More of a x-country aerobic training course, with great scenes and a well maintained trail. One of my favorite rides!

Trail is very rocky with lots of steep and long rocky climbs.this is probably the most technical trail in the metroplex.
