Description for Rocky Hill Ranch
The Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville is a Texas mountain biking mainstay. There are 25 miles of singletrack trails in a beautiful pine forest setting. It almost feels like you are in a different state. The trails are a mix of super smooth, fast, flowy singletrack and rougher, rooty terrain on some of the more technical sections. Overall this place is great for riders of all levels.
One of the great things about this ride is taking a quick shower and then grabbing a burger and beer at the on-site bar after your ride. Bring you camping gear and stay the weekend, it is the perfect place to just get away and chill.
The 2010 rates is $8 per person for riding, $5 per day for tent camping, and $15 for RV hookup camping.

Nice place to ride, among the most challenging trails south of Austin.
First mile contains some steep climbs. The shoe really fits, because this place is ROCKY! Several stretches of ups and downs over 3-4" stones that really challenge your line.
Lots of trail here...several 'bonus' opportunities to take advantage of.
