Description for Mary Moore Searight Park
The trails are Mary Moore Searight Park is not the best riding that Austin has to offer, but if you work in the area it is a great place to squeeze in a quick lunchtime ride. The park has two entrances, the rear entrance (where the Mountain Bike Trails iPhone app routes you to) is the best place to park for your ride. There is nothing overly challenging or technical about this ride, there are a couple of fun features that you can drop off of, but nothing that will get your heart racing.
This is a great place to bring beginners, the mixed of wide trail, pavement, hard limestone, and tight gravel will make them feel pretty comfortable and get them use to riding off-road. There are several creek crossings, when the creeks are flowing you will get a little bit wet.
