Description for Madrone Trail
Madrone Trail is some great singletrack around Canyon Lake. Throughout the ride you have a great view of the lake as you weave along the water and back into the trees. The trail has a nice flow, while not overly technical there are some features that will get your heart racing. The trail has drops, step ups, fast smooth trail, loose rocky terrain, jumps, rock gardens, and switchbacks throughout the ride. The ride is intermediate with a few advanced features.
If you have not ridden here it is worth the drive, overall the trail is fun, fast, and all around great hill country riding.

I'm not sure who wrote the description on this trail but this trail is definitely an intermediate and up trail. If you are a beginner you will be walking a lot on this trail. I recommend a full suspension bike. Also the gps track shown left off a big portion of the backside of the trail. It is actually 8 miles long. It's a very nice trail ... Some really flowy sections broken up by some serious rock gardens on the backend of the trail. About 1000 cumulative feet of climbing ... If you arent fit you will be real tired at the end! If you are in the area it is worth a detour and ride.
