Description for Turkey Mountain
Turkey Mountain is a very technical trial throughout, there are many steep rocky climbs and tricky descents. The trail is not recommend for beginners, it is great for experienced riders looking for a tough and intense ride. Great trails. If you like technical, then this is your spot. Lots of rocks, roots, and sharp downhills.
Overall it is some of the best and most challenging trails in Oklahoma. Absolutely every variety of trail imaginable, the Ozark trail is definitely a local favorite. Rip it on a Single Speed or full suspension the whole spectrum is covered. Ride with someone who can show you the 25 plus miles of ripping singletrack.

An extensive network of innerconnecting trails packed into a small area. No motorized vehicles are allowed so trails are nice and single tracked. Been riding here since the 80's and watched the park 'grow-up.' Trailbuilders are always marking new routes, but newcomers should follow the established routes until you learn your way around.
Right now, there are 4 well-marked routes: yellow, blue, red, & (recently) pink. As u learn your way around the place, u can explore the 'Ridge trail,' the 'Snake,' the 'Ho Chi Mihn trail,' the 'YMCA,' and more.
Most ride from the nice, new South Parking Lot, but you can also park at the North end-behind the Pepsi bottling plant, and ride up into the park from there. Follow the pink-colored markers.
