The Greentown Plunge is done as a shuttle ride and often combined with BeeHive Trail is increase the mileage and up the fun and technical factors. Greentown is a solid intermediate trail with a few features that many riders walk, especially when covered with leaves in the fall. There are a couple of big jumps so scout them before hucking off them if it is your first time riding the trail, the spacing between them can cause you to case the next one so getting the timing right can be tricky. Other terrain includes rocks, drops, creek crossings, boulders, step ups, and all the other obstacles that making mountain biking great. All around this is a very fun ride that does not tend to see a lot of mountain biking traffic, which is unfortunate because it truly is a fun ride and well worth a special trip.
There tends to be hikers so keep an eye out as you fly downhill.
