Description for Brown Mountain
Brown Mountain has pretty much every type of riding that you can imagine, singletrack and doubletrack, beginner to expert level features, cross country to freeride, climbing and downhill. While it is certainly not the best riding in the state, there are some very cool features and it makes for a fun day of exploration. Off all the trails are rocky, rough in places with a lot of roots. Since there is a fair amount of climbing it is not really something you would take your bighit bike on, but an all mountain bike is perfect. There are a fair number of jumps, berms, rock gardens, as well as some huge drops.
