Description for Owls Roost
Owl's Roost trail and easily be combined with the Bald Eagle and Bur Mill trails to up your mileage and fun factor. Owl's Roost is probably the most popular of the trails in the area and has about 5 miles of double and singletrack riding. The trail is well maintained and is definitely a local favorite. Navigation can be tricky when you intersect with other trails, but after a couple of rides you will get a good feel for the flow and the route. Intermediate riders should feel right at home on this trail, beginners may have to dismount a few times but those willing to push themselves should be able to have a good time.

Great trail, has been around since I began mountain biking 10 years ago. Since it's on the banks of a lake, erosion has shaped the trail into a rooty, technical blast! Not so difficult that beginners can't handle most everything but still a fun challenge once you're comfortable.
