Description for Blue Heron
Blue Heron is on of Greensboro's newest trails. The trailhead can be found at the end of the Reedy Fork Trail, straight across Church Street. The trail does not really much elevation change, the land next to the lake is mostly flat. Even with out much in terms of ups and owns, the trail has a great flow. The ride is beautiful as it meanders along the shores of Lake Townsend. The trail is 3 miles each way and is a great extension to Reedy Fork trail.
