The French Creek trails are maintained by local bike groups and offer some of the best riding in the area.
Horribly rocky. If your idea of "mountain biking" is slowly dragging your bike over trails that are completely covered in rocks, then you'll love French Creek.
I went there for my first time last summer with a friend. I enjoyed it. We got lost an were way out of our way. It is very rocky an there are some pretty good size rocks an roots. I would recomend bringing a spare tube cus you may pop a tire. Overall i had fun it was challenging an rocky but if you enjoy a challenge youll like it. I WOULD RECOMEND A HELMET. I crashed but luckly i was able to jump over the bars fast enough to avoid rocks. I would def go again.
This trail is extremely rocky. No pleasure ride here. You'll be working hard on this trail, both up and down!! It actually looks like God poured huge rocks on the trail all over the place. lol
I love a challenge, but I personally grew weary of dealing with the multitude of rocks, mile after mile.
French Creek is a beautiful place. Better suited for hiking.
There are other trails to ride on besides the ones shown on the gps track. Some places you aren't allowed to ride. From the parts I have ridden there are to many rocks ways to many not much fun. Maybe you would like it if you have a full suspension bike otherwise to rocky.
