Description for Jones Creek Trail
Jones Creek is an mix of fireroads and singletrack, there is a fair amount of climbing but nothing overly technical or challenging throughout the ride. There are a couple of small drops and step ups but nothing that will get you heart racing. The ride is pretty standard and any intermediate level riders should not struggle with any obstacles, the hardest part of the ride is the physical challenge of the climb.

We attempted to do this route but unfortunately due to no signage once you find the correct parking lot this trail was no marked and with several trails and roads to choose from, we unfortunately choose the wrong one and wasted an entire day riding a dead end jeep trail...

Route is easy to find if your study the maps at the trailheads. There are many trails in the area so study before you ride,
Lots of narrow over the boulders stuff. Will get really worn out with Sierra dust into the late summer.
Great ride close to urban Reno.
