Description for Rifle River
The Rifle River trail is mostly flat and winding hard-pack, you'll find more challenging climbs near the front (North end) of the park. The trail is very scenic with several streams, high vistas, and beautiful lakes. There is approximately 14 miles of trail if you make a complete loop. The trail is well marked.

A great find thanks to Trailfu. My parents live on Sage Lake and you can enter from Sage Lake Road. It's well marked well maintained.
