Description for Tech Trails
The Tech Trails are fantastic, the Michican Tech University students are lucky to have such riding right outside their dorm rooms. The trails have continually expanded with more and more freeriding features with an evolving "Northshore" feel. Of course there are some natural challenges, like rocks and roots as well. The trail is super flowy with a roller coaster like feel to it. There is a fair amount of downhill, with that comes all climbing, you do have to earn your descents on this ride. The Pilgrim and Dragon Loop trails are infamous and just plain awesome.
There is an outer loop, called Outer Limits and an inner loop called Twilight Zone, the outer loop is easier and more friendly for less experienced riders. The inter loop is more advanced.
This should be on your must ride list, well worth a special trip.
