Description for Boyne Highland MTB Park
The Highlands is a local favorite, it has lots of loops to mix things up. A few challenging climbs and a number of exciting downhills. Check out the Bridges (Blue Trail) and the Victory Lap that ends at the Meadow parking area. The North Ridge (Orange Trail) is by far the best XC downhill in Michigan with steep twisty descents along a ridgeline that will make you grin. The whole system is very fast and flowy, made to be ridden hard.
This trail is a must ride if you are in the area.

Rode North, South, and Froggy loops while visiting the area recently. Very flat and twisty with few opportunities to let it out. A few snap climbs that mostly climb and descend the same 10' berm. Some very cool log, fieldstone, and bridge obstacles (including a teeter totter) make things a bit more interesting. Would consider it a beginner to at most an intermediate trail system Worth the ride.
