Description for Boyne Mountain
Boyne Mountain is a lift service operated mountain. The chairlift will take you to the top where you have the option of a 7 mile easy paved ride down or you can take the mtb singletrack route down the backside of the mountain, which consists of great hills, twists, turns and some amazing scenery.
This ride should be on every mountain bikers must ride list, there is great riding, probably the best in the state. There are trails for every level of experience, and some really burly northshore type stuff for those willing to push the limits.
There are bike rentals on-site or you can of course bring your own.

This XC trail is one of the best in MI. very well marked. There Are some really nice climbs that really pay off. The only down fall to this trail is you wish it was longer. so ride it twice. when your done there go to Avalanche to the north in Boyne City.

Another fantastic ski area MTB ride with lots of challenging climbs and huge downhill payoffs. Very fast with great corners that gets enough traffic to keep it packed in. Ride it hard if you like your ups and downs.
