Description for Berrien Springs
Berrien Springs has continually evolved into a very cool mountain biking spot. While the trails are not well marked, it is fairly easy to navigate. There is not a ton of elevation change, but that does not mean there is not climbing, in fact some of the climbs and descents in and out of the ravine are pretty steep. The ravine is a gravel/rock bowl with singletrack jetting in and out of it. The trail used to have more advanced features but has tamed over the years, however there are still some advanced features that many bikers will think twice before attempting. Some of the more challenging parts of the terrain include wall rides, log features, ladders, skinnies, and some fairly big jumps. In all this is a great place to ride and will definitely help you build up your mountain biking skills, if you are going to be in the area be sure not to miss it.

Been riding this trail for years use to only be about six miles now it's ten plus. Good mix of everything. Lots of climbing, some technical stuff, and some fast sections also. Makes for a great ride and work out. The only problem with this trail is that it isn't marked well so it can be hard to figure out which trail you are supposed to follow.

I just got a new bike and Chris from "Cycle & Fitness" bike shop in Niles told me go check these trails out. They were well worth it. There are not markers so it is easy to get turned around way out there, but I made it out alive.
Lots of elevation changes and even some switch backs.
My friend that went with me said it was more technical than the Potato Creek trails.
