Description for Norway Ridge Pathway
The Norway Ridge Pathway trails are well suited for beginners. The trail system is located 4.5 miles southwest of Alpena. There are 7 miles of multi-use trail located in the boundaries of the Thunder Bay River State Forest. The property contains off-road vehicle trails and the rolling terrain of the Norway Ridge; hikers share this trail with bikers. The facility provides parking and restrooms but no longer offers camping. The park does not require a permit or a fee for use.
