Patuxent River Park

Description for Patuxent River Park

The Patuxent River are multi-use trails shared with horses and hikers. The trail starts near the park office. Due to the heavy horse use the trail does not drain water, so give it a few days to dry out after heavy rains. The trail is not well maintained or marked and often has dead fall trees blocking the path, which is unacceptable considering there is an admission fee.
