Description for Western Maryland Trail
The Western Maryland Trail is another Rails to Trails conversion trail. The path is paved and not a mountain biking adventure trail. The Western Maryland Rail Trail (WMRT) the paved path is shared by bikers, runners, and walkers, the trail is mostly shaded, smooth and nearly a flat ride offering scenic views of the floor of the Appalachian Mountains the canal and river.
