Description for Stoner Mountain Bike Park
This gem of a trail system is located in the city of Shreveport between Clyde Fant Parkway and the Red River. It is a network of interconnected trails that spans the 4 miles or so between the Stoner Ave Boat Launch and Hammels Park. The total distance of all the trails is roughly 12 miles. You can get in a quick 30 minute ride or you could easily spend hours exploring all the trails. There are basically three trails -Red, Yellow and Green... look for markers of those colors as you ride.
The trails offer up are fast, windy and full of enough challenges to keep you coming back for more, there are even a few cool jumps. There is not much in terms of elevation change, but there is plenty of greet riding.

Nice single track running on the edge of the Red River. Doesn't seem like it's well maintained, but gets ridden a lot by the locals. Lots of wet sand and mud. I rode it in a couple of hours. Nice scenery, very wooded. Easy ingress and egress off the trail and out of the woods of you needed too. I'd say it was pretty nice at one time. Someone spent time building the obstacles and jumps, but not anymore. Maybe the local club is waiting for a workday? The park has great potential
