Description for Sam Houston
The Sam Houston trails offer up a great scenic ride that is ideal for beginners and families. There are quite a few good trails. It actually has a little bit of elevation change (not normal for southern LA) but does have quite a few roots. There are plenty of restrooms and camping sites. There is almost no way to get lost in this park. The loop runs the perimeter of the park total distance is around 7.5 break down as follows yellow-.075, blue-3.7, purple-1.3, orange-1.6

Quite a few good trails. It actually has a little bit of elevation change (not normal for south La) but does have quite a few roots. This is a pretty area to bring family. Plenty of restrooms and camping sites. I have been riding there 6 times and have seen deer everytime.
