Description for Cherokee and Seneca Parks
The Cherokee and Seneca Park trails offer some of the areas best riding. If you have never been here and are in the area, it should be on your must ride list. The trails are built for all levels, there are beginner-advanced rides. There is a great flow, bermed corners, fun challenging climbs, fast descents, roots, rocks, trees, and everything else that makes mountain biking so great.
The trails are a bit of a maze so it is easy to lose your way, try to go with someone that knows them or bring your GPS. Regular group Meet Ups are posted all the time, so if you are new to area or mountain biking in general this is a good way to get introduced to these trails.
If you work nearby it is a great place to sneak away for a lunchtime workout, or a quick after work ride.

What a treasure to have in Louisville Ky . There's so much variety for all skill levels, and there must be a great group of individuals that maintain these trails. I've ridden these trails and was able to muster out approximately 15 miles without repeating any of it. The fall night rides turn the trail into a whole new unchartered beast to tame, the "wilderness loop" is about 2.5 miles one time around so we'll rock this section about 4x's (2 forward /2 reverse) ...a blast!.a MUST ride to add to your favorites.
