Description for Briar Hill
Briar Hill is a good ride, there are two sections, divided by the road, one side is very beginner friendly, the other is some of the more technical trails in the Louisville area. It has lots of rocks, drops, roots, creek crossings and tight squeezes between trees, not really advanced riding but it is a great area to improve your bike handling skills, fell challenged and become a better rider.
The trail has some issues due to lack of maintenance and is pretty overgrown in places. Hopefully someone will start scheduling regular trail work days here, it could be the best trail in the area with a little bit of love.

Briar Hill Trails, The lower section around the park has some real nice rock gardens that will challenge you to stay on your bike. The lower section is about 1.9 miles long doing the most outer part of the trail.
The second part of the trails is across from the park. The trail is about 5.4 miles.
Over all it was worth the drive to take the challenge.
