Most of trail is open which is north of 465. This is the popular primary trail. Lots of twisties throughout, roller coasters and some short steep climbs will get heart pumping. Technical features to practice on include some jumps, a manageable climb to a steep drop, loads of narrow climbs with between the trees entry to a tight switchback. Trail even includes a row of flat top logs to try if desired.
This is a great local resource and a community park for all. Kids with correct equipment can ride too, my 10 year old does. No worries as jumps and drops are marked and can be bypassed.
Careful of racers. Riders tend to time themselves on this trail making sight seeing or just surviving the trail a challenge.
Easy to miss entrance. Look south roughly 0.3 mi after turning west on 96th from Allisonville Rd.
Good bike shops surround area and good eats in abundance. Your smorgasbord for choice in cuisine.
Trail time will take 22 to 30 min depending on your skill and lung capacity.

This trail is a "burner" for speed on flat terrain. Any "climb" lasts under to around a minute as there are really no hills in the area but rather very short inclines. There are trail maintenance crews that periodically update areas. Trail is very hard packed which adds to speed and flow. be curteous to faster/slower riders as traffic at times can be moderate to heavy.
Worth the trip, it's fast flowy and fun
5 stars as compared to other trails in Indy metro area
