8 miles...4500+ descending!! The trail is a 4wheeler track that becomes a rocky USFS Road. A ripping downhill straight to town.
Directions to Leesburg Downhill Trailhead
To shuttle to the top, head North from Salmon on US93 to the Fairgrounds. Go left and follow the Stormy Peak Road and signs to Wallace Lake. About 20 miles.
Start of the trail is from the Ridge Road across from the Napias Trailhead. About 1.8 miles south of the Wallace Lake intersection. A 4wheeler trail takes off down the ridge. After 2.5 miles this runs in to the Old Leesburg Road. Follow this down to Salmon. Hit the Bistro after for a Peeber.
