Description for Loon Lake Trail IMBA Epic
The Loon Lake Trail is a classic Rocky Mountain route, where riders might glimpse salmon in the Secesh River, along with the scenic views of Loon Lake. The trail also boasts unique attractions, like World War II-era airplane wreckage. But, without a doubt, after riding Loon Lake mountain bikers will rave most about the pristine singletrack they encounter. For those reasons, President George W. Bush chose to visit and ride this region of Idaho in 2005. McCall offers two ski resorts and numerous hot springs: luxuries that can, after a long ride, make anyone feel presidential.
