Description for Kiwanis Trails
To get to the trailhead, enter the gate between the Kiwanis Fair Grounds and the Armory. The trail is short, but it is tight, twisty, and fun singletrack.

It took me about an hour to finish, there was ample parking, and I was the only one there. The trail was well marked with signs at the entrance and colored plastic tied to the trees. The trail is soft dirt, broken up by ALOT of tree roots that will throw off your cadence. Also you have to pass through several trees, just far apart enough to get the handlebars through. Pair that with the roots, rocks, and the random contours of the ground and your handlebar ends and pedals will get scuffed up. Definetly not a speed course, I stayed in low range in the woods. Not a destination ride, but if you're in the neighborhood, do it, its worth the adventure. Also, watch out for the massive drop off with handlebar banging trees about 30 minutes in (if you're riding a decent clip)!
