Description for Rock Hawk Effigy Trails
The trails are a combination of fireroads and singletrack which is color-coded. Beginners will likely want to stick to the fireroads, the singletrack offers more experienced riders a bit more of a challenge. The riding here is not really a destination place, more of a place to get in a quick workout or to ride something new.
The Rock Hawk Trails, located in Putnam County, Georgia, near Lake Oconee. The trailhead is located at the Lawrence Shoals Public Recreation Area. The park has a campground, picnic pavilion, playground, boat ramp, and a beach with bathrooms and a dressing area.
