Description for Dawson Forest
The Dawson Forest Trails are mixed use and heavily used by horses which has created some damage and drainage issues. Overall these are not the best trails to ride on, they are quite sandy and heavily eroded from horse use. There are 3 trails, Orange, which is about 10 miles of singletrack and probably the best all around trail for biking. Red which is mostly singletrack and has okay riding and Blue which is a mix of double and singletrack and is much more geared towards beginner bikers.
