Description for Stonewall Falls Loop
The Stonewall Falls Trail is an 11 miles loop composed of 10.5 miles of singletrack and .5 miles of doubletrack. The trail is best traveled in a counter-clockwise direction. The trail begins at the parking lot and goes past the gate on the power line access road. From the parking lot, go 200 yards and turn left onto the singletrack trail. At mileage 3.4 miles there is an optional exit to allow bikers to exit and return to the parking lot via the power line access road, rather than continue on the trail. There are optional routes along the trail with different difficulty levels.
There is a good possibility of seeing wildlife in this area. Wildlife ranges from squirrels, grouse, deer, bobcats, and even wild bear. White Twister trail is 4.5 mile loop composed of 4.25 miles of singletrack +.25 miles of doubletrack. The trail is best traveled in a clockwise direction. The trail begins approximately 100 yards on the left prior to the parking lot on the road you drove in on. It is approximately 50 yards prior to the T intersection prior to the parking lot. The trail gets its name from the winding, twisting route is flows. It has been referred to as a roller coaster trail. There are a few aggressive climbs, and some fast downhill. It goes through fern hollow, crosses root ridge, fern hollow, and then travels for one-half mile along an old railroad bed running along side Stonewall Creek. Near the end, you will intersect the gravel road where you may turn right and go 150 yards to the parking lot; or turn left and travel 150 yards to visit the waterfalls.

Nowhere near as well kept as blankets creek and ropemill park, but nonetheless a great ride with short and long options. Not very technical (pretty smooth). A lot of ups and downs but nothing a higher level intermediate rider couldn't handle. Overall fun ride! I'll be back!
