Description for Blythe Island
A 1,100 acre public park that offers two mountain bike trails, and loop and an out-and-back trial. The loop trail is 4 miles with small berms/climbs and very tight switchbacks. Second Part is currently a 2.5 mile out and back section, much more difficult than the main loop, short steep climbs starting off, then more tight rooty singletrack with a few moderate climbs, compared to rest of the trail. Just added "the hill" at the end of the out and back section. Trail goes up and comes down (steep and fast going down) using the back berm to what was used as the firing range when it was a military installation.
