Description for Hontoon Island State Park
The Hontoon Island State Park has several miles of trail beginner levels trails that are a mix of singletrack and fireroads. The fireroads will up the mileage but the singletrack offers much more fun. The singletrack is rooty and has a bit of sand in several places and can get pretty muddy after rain and stay that way for several days. A lot of people ride the hiking only trails which should be avoided.
