Description for John Dickenson State Park
There is something for everyone here, from the easy trails to the more advanced man-made obstacles. Be warned you do not have a lot of shade and very sandy in places. Great beginner trails, well maintained easy to get to has camp ground, small hills, nice long bridge 2 feet wide by around 150 feet. Nice little practice area at the start.
Overall the trail is just over 10 miles of mostly singletrack that contains a lot of trail stunts, such as tall narrow bridges over swampy areas, log bridges, teeter-totters and more.

Lots of sand and hills with sand. Its a great workout and can be a lot of fun toward the end. Look for Bunker hill if you are a more experienced rider with jumps gaps, steep stuff and stairs. There is also a little warm up section in the beginning.
