Description for 8th Avenue Trails
The 8th Avenue trails are certainly not a mountain biking destination, they are very entry level trails and barely qualify as an off-road trail. That being said it is a good place for beginners to ride or just to sneak in a quick lunchtime workout.

A nice glimpse at "real" Florida. Parts are very rooty. Not a destination, but not bad for "in the middle of town" trails. Lots more exist not shown here on map, but these are a good sample. Helps to get some info at a LBS or join a ride. See gainesvillecycling.com.
