Alapocas Woods are certainly not the first trails you would want to expose someone to if they have never been mountain biking, in fact overall the riding here is a bit of a exploration adventure and not really a fun biking trip. The trails have some real technical features and there are some nice hills, rocks, roots, and big drops. But overall the maintenance on the trail is lacking and the overall riding leaves a lot to be desired. This is probably one to skip unless you are desperate for something new or want to spark up a trail maintenance team to got in a turn this into a more rideable area.
