Description for North Trail
North Trail runs along the north side of I-70 in Vail. It is a fairly short and quick ride so it is a great place to ride for some quick exercise or if you don't have a lot of time. We arrived to Vail late in the day and it was a perfect place to do a quick afternoon ride before dark. If you work in Vail and want to take a bit of an extended lunch, the trail is ideal.
There is a fair amount of climbing but nothing super intense, the descents are fast and fun and there was nothing insanely technical. Its not a good trail for beginners but more experienced riders should be fine.
