Description for Zippity Do Da
Zippety is by far one of the most memorable rides you will ever have, it is fast, the penalty for mistakes are high but the fun factor is through the roof. This is a true ridge ride where it could be easy to go over the edge in a split second if you lose control. There is a down that is a a 75 degree angle that will make you pucker for sure and the rut down the middle of the trail does not help.
This is not a beginner friendly ride, in fact most skilled intermediate riders should think twice before attempting it. A mistake could be fatal or at the very least extremely painful. Our first time on this trail was on a day with sustained 45 MPH winds, since you are on a ridge there is no protection and leaning into the wind to avoid getting blown off meant that a small lapse in the wind would cause you to start a fall, a correction would save you, only to have the wind pick back up and blow you the other direction. This was truly a humbling experience and one that we will never forget. That being said we never miss a chance to ride this trail, it is in our all-time favorites top 10 list.
