Mary's is a fun 8.5 mile loop that can be ridden by beginners but is still fun for the more experienced rider. The trail starts with an up hill that is fairly easy (but long) leading into nice dirt and rock sections with spectacular views of the Colorado river. About 2 miles into the trail you will see a bright yellow cattle gate that leads to a gnarly downhill (I have seen many attempt to ride it but have not seen anyone clean it), at the bottom of the hill is Horsethief Bench, I always recommend that people combine Mary's and Horsethief, together they make a fun few hours, the less experienced rider may want to just continue on Mary's or will have to walk a few features on Horsethief (See Horsethief for more details). Those that continue on Mary's will continue to enjoy a more leisurely ride with some of the best views in the area.
It ends with fire road leading back to the parking lot. Fun for riders of all skill levels.
