Description for Soapstone Natural Area
The Soapstone Natural Area is awesome, totally worth the drive from Fort Collins. The trail is a mix of singletrack and fireroads and is pretty beginner friendly. We didn't explore the entire area but from what we did ride there was nothing overly technical, it just had an amazing fun flow. The singletrack is smooth so it is easy to just pedal as fast as you can and rip along the trail.
I can't imagine a better place to take someone that is interested in learning to mountain bike.
