We asked around about what trail to ride when visiting Durango, a lot of the suggestions was for stuff we had already been on, we wanted something new so the Molas to Coal Bank ride came up, we just on it, especially we we found out that we could do the ride as a shuttle. After messing with the cars and getting everything setup we started down the trail, which was pretty mellow at first but quickly became more and more challenging, the climbing was not lung busting, the downs were definitely fun, the was some technical stuff that gave us problems and some none of us cleaned, the fast sections where our favorites.

While we did enjoy the ride, we all agreed we would not be back to do this one again for quite a while, it was good but not as good as so many of the other trails a short distance away.
