Description for Engineer Mountain
Engineer Mountain is an all day commitment and the remoteness and altitude of the ride means that you need to come prepared, plenty of water, snacks and some protection from the elements in the event that a storm rolls in while you are in the middle of no where.
The ride is very technical so if you have doubts about your skills this is not the trail to push yourself on, advanced and above riders are the target audience, less experienced riders will likely be unable to ride several areas and will probably not be comfortable with the extreme exposure in other areas (even the most advanced rider should be too comfortable there). There is a fair amount of climbing, at least a few miles and some mandatory hike-a-bikes along the way. The descent is truly epic. If you have the skills this should be on your must ride list.
