Description for Centennial Cone
The Centennial Cone Trails is a fun fast singletrack trail. The trail has mixed use days which means bikes are only allowed on certain days so check the Jefferson County website for the most current ride restriction details http://www.co.jefferson.co.us
The ride is not overly challenging which makes it a great place for new riders to improve their skills and push themselves to the next level (there are a few places that new riders may want to walk). It is also a great place for a workout for the more experienced rider. There is a fair amount of climbing and some fun downhills.

Last time I rode this trail, it was on a schedule with bikers one day of the weekend and hikers the other day. It was great! You can ride as hard as you want and not have to worry about running into a family hiking trip around the corner with the 30' dog leashes, strollers and all the rest of their crap and dirty looks. The trail has long hard climbs, fast flowing downhills, and beautiful vistas. The altitude is also noticeable if you're used to riding the lower front range trails.
