Description for Phils world
Phil's World offers some of the best cross country mountain biking in the United States, in fact Mountain Bike Magazine rated it as one of the best trails in the entire 4 corners area (Moab, Crested Butte, Durango, Fruita). There is a wide variety of riding, for the most part there is nothing super technical and the climbs are not lung busters. The flow of the trail is amazing, fast smooth and rolling singletrack terrain with spectacular views of the area. The trail system is oneway, basically if you take every left turn you are going the right direction (it is very easy to follow). Phil's has continued to expand is now over 16 miles long.
As one of our users stated in their review "Single speeders rejoice! This is a great xc trail system. The whole area is very well maintained and open only to MTB. Lots of low bermed turns and some moderate techy rock stuff. Everything seems pretty well thought out and set specifically for a good quality ride. If you can ride moderate to intermediate you should be on your bike the whole ride. There's terrific views and it's all single track. Don't miss the ribcage on your way back around."
