The Rampart Reservoir is a forest loop that can be ridden all the way around the lake. The ride has some spots that will make most beginners uncomfortable, but most intermediate riders will be able to tackle nearly everything on the trail. There is a fair amount of climbing, beautiful views of the water, tons of roots and some good downs.

Rampart Reservoir would be a good place to bring beginners that are ready to start pushing themselves to the next level, they may have to dismount through a couple sections but overall they should be adequately challenged.
